Según los datos que posee el Consejo Regulador de la
Denominación de Origen Protegida Utiel-Requena
durante el pasado 2014 dispensó 28.464.998 contraetiquetas a las bodegas
embotelladoras inscritas en el organismo, este dato indica que se ha producido
un incremento de un 6,2% respecto al año anterior. Pro lo más importante es la
tendencia sostenida, ya que se trata de un ritmo de crecimiento constante, muy similar
al obtenido durante la campaña de 2013.
Cabe destacar en estos datos y en los resultados globales,
la línea de internacionalización que lleva a cabo el Consejo Regulador de la DOP
Utiel-Requena junto a sus bodegas, en los aspectos relacionados con la
comercialización que supone la exportación de vino embotellado del 78% del
total, con más de 150.000 hectolitros
vendidos en 2014.
Los principales países importadores del vino embotellado
de la DOP Utiel-Requena pertenecen a la Unión Europea, a donde se destinan siendo
una vez más Francia al igual que en 2013, quien encabeza la lista con 55.066 Hl
comprados en 2014. El segundo y tercer puestos también son de nuevo para
Bélgica (15.629 Hl) y Alemania (14.605 Hl), mientras que al resto de países del
mundo se destinan 41.598 Hl. De los cuales el 46,6% va a parar a Noruega, Rusia
y Suiza y otro 35,7 % viaja a América (sobre todo a Canadá, EEUU, Brasil y
México), el resto se distribuye en Asia (China y Japón principalmente).
En todos los casos predomina en la venta exterior el vino
tinto sobre los blancos y rosados suponiendo un 81% del total de vino
embotellado (124.439 Hl).
